Supervisor Hiring and Onboarding Journey

The Office of Human Resources (OHR) launched a new Workday Journey for supervisors called Hiring and Welcoming a New Employee to the Team. The Journey will be launched to supervisors (excluding SEI supervisors) when a new job requisition is posted.

The Journey aims to assist supervisors in navigating the staff recruiting, hiring and onboarding process. It also points supervisors to the great resources available on our Talent Strategy and Onboarding Employees pages.

What is a Workday Journey? Workday Journeys use a helpful, intuitive interface to provide customized, “concierge-style” experiences. Journeys guide CMU employees and novice Workday users through key milestones in their careers.

We hope that this new Journey will help keep supervisors organized and prepared to lead these important employee life cycle events.
